*** Update ***

On November 10, 2017, Vancouver Police were contacted by a woman who recognized the photo album as having belonged to her mother. Several relatives had seen the media and social media posts and contacted her and she was able to positively identify it as a family heirloom. She was unaware the album had been taken and is appreciative to have it back in the family.

Thank you to the media and members of the public for sharing the photos so that the album could be returned to the rightful owner.
