TRAFFIC #ALERT: MAJOR CRASH TEAM RESPONDING TO CRASH NEAR ST. JOHNS BRIDGE

On Saturday November 4, 2017, at 9:04 p.m., North Precinct, Central Precinct and Traffic Division officers responded to the report of a traffic crash involving two vehicles near the St. Johns Bridge.

Officers and medical personnel arrived and located two vehicles that were involved in the crash. Two of the people involved in the crash were transported to an area hospital by ambulance with what are believed to be serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Emergency medical personnel determined a third person, located in a second vehicle, was deceased.

The Traffic Division's Major Crash Team is responding to investigate this crash.

The St. Johns Bridge and Southwest Bridge Avenue will be closed during this investigation.

This investigation is just beginning. No additional information will be provided regarding this crash tonight.
